Impakt is Full FX Media’s multiband transient shaper, built for punch, clarity, and control. If you’ve ever reached for a compressor to fix a transient problem and ended up squashing the tone along with it, Impakt solves that by working on attack and sustain directly, separated across frequency bands.
Here’s what it does and how it fits into a mix.
What Makes Impakt Different
Transient shaping tools that work across the full signal are a blunt instrument. Boost the attack on a drum bus and you get more click on the kick, but also more pick noise on the bass and more sibilance on anything bleeding through the overheads. Impakt splits the signal into high and low bands with an adjustable crossover from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, so attack and sustain can be shaped independently in each range.
On top of that, four parametric EQ bands are transient-reactive, meaning the tonal shaping responds to the same envelope detection driving the shaper. A soft-clip limiter sits at the end of the chain to catch peaks introduced by aggressive attack boosts without needing a separate limiter plugin.

Installation
Impakt is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux in VST3, AU, CLAP, and LV2 formats.
Download the installer from your Full FX Media account after purchase. When you first load Impakt in your DAW, log in through the activation screen to unlock it. Offline activation is available if you need it.
