What Setekh Does

Setekh is a free distortion and saturation VST plugin built around a hyperbolic tangent waveshaper. This kind of soft clipping rounds off the waveform gradually, adding harmonic saturation without the harshness of hard clipping.

• Soft-clip waveshaping for warmth, grit, or a touch of character
• A high-shelf boost at 7.5 kHz before the waveshaper and a matching cut after it, to keep the top end smooth
• Input and output gain, with an optional link that offsets one against the other
• Automatic blend of the processed and original signal
